Journalling with New Beginnings Workshop – Saturday 29th February 2010 – 10am – 1pm Blackhall, Edinburgh

Come and join us for a creative journalling workshop which will help you explore a new beginning in any area of your life. We will be using colours and images to explore a ‘theme word’ and make a moodboard as we look into the next bit of our journey. Have a play with some collage and mixed media techniques as you reflect on your priorities and explore the possibilities. All materials are provided including a journal which you can decorate and personalise at the workshop and the latest booklet from Creative Journalling UK: ‘Journalling with New Beginnings: setting a course for the next bit of your life’. Every participant gets a journalling kit to take home with them so you can carry on with some journaling if you want to. There will also be a room of craft supplies to use on the day.

Experienced journallers and complete beginners are all welcome.

The cost is £45 per person which includes all materials, morning coffee, tea and cake. Please let me know a week in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.

Make it a Happy New Year!

Journalling for the New Year on Saturday 11th January 2020 10am-1pm in Edinburgh

This workshop is a great way to start the New Year, explore what lies ahead for you, and get creative in the process! You don;t have to make any resolutions and it’s not about creating lists of goals to beat yourself up with!

We will be using colours and images to explore a ‘word for the year’ and make a moodboard as we look into 2020. There will a chance to play with some collage and mixed media techniques. All materials are provided including a journal which you can decorate and personalise at the workshop. Every participant gets the latest booklet from CJUK, ‘Journalling with new beginnings’, and journalling kit to take home with them so you can carry on with some new year journalling if you want to. There will also be a room of craft supplies to use on the day.

The cost is £45 per person which includes all materials, morning coffee, tea and cake.

The workshop will be held in Blackhall Edinburgh on Saturday 11th January 2020 from 10am – 1pm. It’s an easy bus ride from town and there is plenty of free on-street parking.

Gratitude Journalling Workshop

Saturday 16th November 10-1pm in Edinburgh

Gratitude journalling is good for us! It increases resilience, supports positive mental health and gives us a creative space in which to think and reflect. Come to the workshop and find everything you need, whether you are a beginner a hard-core journaller, or anywhere in between.

Come and join us for this Saturday morning workshop and get stuck in!

The workshop will include a room full of art and craft materials, inspiration on how to use them in your journalling, hints and tips, tea, coffee and cake. Bring your gratitude kit (if you have one) and enjoy a little bit of time for yourself in a relaxed atmosphere with support, ideas and your journalling questions answered.

Everyone gets a kit of supplies to take home, included in the price. If you don’t have a kit already, don’t worry! You’ll get one on the day. If you do have a kit already, you’ll get some beautiful autumn-themed extra supplies to spark gratitude! Let us know at time of booking.

Join me at the Westival on Sunday 23rd June 2019 at:

“Westival” – a wee festival of wellness! Escape to the idyllic Berwickshire countryside & get away from the business of life, to enjoy doing things that are good for your body and mind.

The Festival runs from Friday night 21st – Sunday evening 23rd June at the Old Schoolhouse, Cranshaws near Duns. You can camp for the weekend or just come for the day. Blossom Time Journalling on Friday 24th May 2019 10am-1pm in Blackhall, Edinburgh

Using the image and symbolism of Japanese Sakura (cherry blossom), come and explore the peace and joy of living in the moment and what it means for you to blossom. Set up a journal to take you through the summer and have a hanami! (more details at the workshop). Focus on where you are, what you’re thankful for today and what brings you peace. Use colours, images and words. Drink tea or coffee and eat cake! All participants receive a journal and personalised journalling kit to take away, plus lots of other craft materials to use on the day.

Follow your guiding lights – Setting a course for the New Year – Friday 11th January 2019 – 9.30am – 12.30 in Edinburgh

What are your guiding lights as you begin a new year? Where do you want to go and how do you get there? This creative journalling workshop will help you begin mapping out your path for the New Year. Create a moodboard, think about your key words and start a page of affirmations. Think about the lights that draw you. You will get an A5 journal ready for you to personalise, a bag of coordinating materials for you to keep, notes to guide you and lots of lovely craft materials to use on the day, helping you explore using colours and images as you think about the year ahead. £45 per person including refreshments and materials. Specialising in beautiful washi tapes and journalling sets and kits on a wide variety of themes, we are not trying to replicate Hobbycraft(!), but offer some good quality supplies at reasonable prices most of which you can’t get anywhere else.
